Well, it's all short now. I have even made new icons to celebrate the occasion.

The strangest thing about the experience of having my hair cut short again was the feeling of "I'm back" that went through me like an electric shock as I finally put on my glasses again and looked in the mirror. And there I was thinking I'd got used to having long(ish) hair!

I have just read a reply to a post from a friend of mine who's having a not great time. It's really moved me, because despite her feeling shitty, she's reached out to me. It's amazing how much little words can mean!

Office is now rearranged

Nix and I have spent this morning reorganising our office with the help of a couple of technician colleagues.

It now actually looks quite nice and much bigger, and Nix and I are thinking of what to do to make our new colleague feel welcome. :-)
